Truly a memorable evening given by a gracious, warm, and inviting host. A sincere and heartfelt "Thank you!" to Tamsie for opening her beautiful home to all of us, and another to Jennifer for not only assisting, but also for creating this wonderful group in the first place. This was an event which will not soon be forgotten, and one which will certainly "raise the bar" for all future events.

Sorry I missed it. My 1/2 hour cat nap turned into 4 hours of deep sleep, never heard my alarm. Guess I was a lot more tired than I thought I was.

Excellent job in setting up the party, and special thanks to Tamsie for hosting. Always nice to reconnect with the summer biking people, and meet other people new to the group.

Tamsie, your party was outstanding, and you're the perfect hostess! Everything was truly top-notch and I appreciate the amount of preparation that you and Jennifer put into this event. I especially appreciate that we newbies were made to feel as welcome as the old-timers. What a great bunch of people! I really look forward to spending more time with the TCSC group in the future. :-)

Tamsie, Thank you for opening up your home for this party.
A fantastic party! There was not a detail left out. A 12 year old pianist extraordinaire, a very welcoming crowd, lots of laughs and fabulous cooks and bakers.

    Thank you ALL!

Tamsie, you did an incredible job hosting this party. It was great to see everyone. I would agree with Alex ... it was a 10 star event.

Fantastic get together Thank you Tamsie for sharing your home this holiday season. If I could give it a 10 star rating instead of a 5, I would!

Thanks to Tamsie, Jennifer, and everyone who worked to coordinate this event. I'll definitely be making a ride event in 2012 before the next holiday party!

Fabulous reception by our host and special recognition to the coat check lady ;) Seriously, you guys did a fantastic job of organizing and putting on the party. It makes me want to hire you for my next event!

WOW! Unbelievable the lengths Tamsie went to! Thank you ever so much. Had we done it at my house, I'd have popped a bag of chips and some beer ;)

    December 18, 2011

  • Carolyn L

Tamsie, I'll try to get there a little early and bring my big table; also can bring 4 folding chairs.

  • cinzia

I so wish I could attend. I miss you guys and cannot wait to ride with you again next summer: )

    December 16, 2011

  • Mark O

Unless you have a request for a certain type of food item and trust my kitchen skills, I will plan to bring some wine / beer.

    December 16, 2011

  • Jennifer

Be safe out there Mark T!!

Parking on my street is on the right side only. Also available: IHM church, located 1/10 of a mile east of my house @ Excelsior Blvd & Mayview, has generously allowed us to use their lot. They ask that you park in the northwest corner of the lot. Share a ride with your fellow partygoers or volunteer to shuttle some folks from the lot.

Echoing what JR and Tamsey have said - I've only been to one event, but I feel comfortable showing up for this event. BTW, everyone always says "next spring," but there are winter mountain bike trails in this area (Baker Park is the only one that comes to mind right now). Biking in the snow is a blast (if you don't mind being wet and a little bruised)!

    December 4, 2011

  • tamsie

Definitely, JR! This is not an exclusive event. If there are members who weren't active over the biking season, come join us anyway. Maybe we can get you inspired to come out and ride with us in the spring!

    December 4, 2011

  • JR

I'm not sure this goes out to everyone, but maybe someone with organizer powers could send out a "All are welcome, even if you didn't make an event" email so we can lure those shy people that haven't come out yet for the best part of our rides ;)

  • tamsie

Glad you can make it Chris!

I've got the ice cream covered (as per Tamsie), and I'll bring a couple bottles of wine as well.

    Chips I can do!

    November 26, 2011

  • Lisa B.

If someone wants to bring some chips, I make an awesome chicken chip dip!

    November 26, 2011

  • Renae O

    I'll bring veggies and dip

How about a small fruit plate and a big bottle of wine instead.

    November 24, 2011

  • Carolyn L

I'll bring a big fruit plate and a bottle of wine.

    November 23, 2011

  • Matt

For a theme, the best I can come up with is ugly sweater (based on the season).

    November 23, 2011

  • tamsie

Jim asked what he could bring. Side dishes would be best. I'll have a couple of soups and fixings for sandwiches as well as some beverages and dessert. Please let me know if you have food allergies or preferences (eg vegetarian, vegan etc.) so we can be sure to have something for you. Oh yeah, ice cream! Breyer's vanilla is gluten-free! Anyone want to volunteer? Nothing fancy is required. A bag of chips would be welcome!

Also, Jennifer asked if we'll have a theme. Any ideas?

    November 23, 2011

  • Jennifer

Do we have a theme? Il'' definitely bring a bottle of wine for us all to share and celebrate!
