Ride the Dakota with Chief "Swollen Knee"

We'll ride out to Mayer and back. It's about 42 miles round trip. We'll ride at about 14 to 15 mph. For those that want to go farther/faster or slower/shorter it's a flat and straight, out and back trail so join us regardless. We can grab a bite afterward at Maggie's.

Ride is weather dependent so please check the site before heading out. Please call if you're running late or if you cancel late.

Please remember to bring your helmet (required) and most importantly your smile.

Yes, the post states you can go farther/faster slower/shorter but this was my first experience with a "no group" group ride. We arrived in St Boni in "groups" of 2, 1, 1, 1 and 2. I was duly impressed with how "speedy" the "leaders" were but I can sign up for a Monday ride with TCBM and get the same effect. I'm not clear why people would sign up for a ride that states "We'll ride at about 14 to 15 mph" with the intention of riding at 16 to 17. Since I was the one out of step I'll defer to the rest of you to organize future rides.
