      There are some great comments on this in the discussion forums but it tends to flow like this:

      1. If you have a question, put it in the hat. You don't need to put your name on it but if we can't read it, we'll ask you to.
      2. We draw from the hat and read the question for everyone.
      3. Discussion ensues. This can be anywhere from each person taking a turn to a full on debate. You don't have to talk or know anything about the question at hand. Questions are never directed right at you unless it's a clarifying question.
