Describe your path / tradition

Shamanism comes in 3 flavors, Elemental, Astral, and Animalistic. My primary is elemental as that is how I started, but the other two came with time as I continued to practice. Gray energy is when two opposing energies unite rather than destroy.

How long have you been practicing it?

I didn't choose shamanism, it choose me. When I was barely a teenager I had an initiation into it. I went into a channel with a friend, and explained the last 5 years of my life. That was the beginning of my current path. So just roughly 19 years.

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladened swallow? (or say something funny, either way)

When things don't work out the way we want them to, we blame god, the world, society, and sometimes ourselves. But sometimes fate is just a bitch. The key is working out how to make fate our bitch. :)

Hi, I'm a practicing solitary gray elemental shaman, who always wishes shamanism wasn't such a solitary path (for me its a path, not a belief system), and is just starting with meet-up to find other interesting people for conversation.

What Ben is saying about this Meetup Group

Great group. Lots of fun and laughs. And open minded people with interesting perspectives. What more could you want?
