We are the Twin Cities Star Riders
Anyone is welcome to sign up for our Meetup site and come on rides, no matter what kind of motorcycle you ride. But, new sign ups on Meetup are required to go on a new members ride, perhaps more than one, so we can assess if you are a good fit for the club. Until you complete this step, you are not legible for any of the scheduled rides.
What kind of club are we?
We are a club that likes to ride. Our weekend rides range from 200 to 300+ miles, so be prepared to give us the day. There will always be a lunch stop with gas stops coming every 80 to 100 miles. Our weeknight rides are about 90 minutes long and end up at a good place to socialize.
We recognize that group riding is a more complicated proposition than just riding with a couple friends, or on your own. On our rides we try to maintain a good balance between fun and speed, ride difficulty and personal comfort level. We offer a diversity of rides, at different skill levels and different lengths. Safety is our primary concern. But we always manage to have fun!
Our Meetup page has limited viewing, unless you are a member
We have three areas that can be viewed people who are not part of the group. This page, and what you can see under the “Pages” heading. You will also be able to see scheduled meetup, the date, and time. If you’re just window shopping, feel free to ask any questions of us you may have, along with your request to join us. We’ll be happy to get back to you. For more information about our club, it is highly recommended you go to the heading marked “Pages” and read through the first 6. There will be a link at the bottom of the each page to guide you
We are not the club for everyone.
We are a riding club, so we like to ride, a lot. We are also a club were everyone counts, where you will feel that you are riding with friends. We look out for one another. We are not for the faint of heart, or for riders that only want to go on a couple rides a year. But if you want to ride, be involved, and feel good about who you ride with. You should check us out.
If you think you might be interested in us, go to “Pages” and read more about us.
