Discovery Dining - Brunch at Ol' Mexico

Sunday brunches can be the best meal of the week.  Eggs, bacon, hash browns, enchiladas...  Wait a second, enchiladas aren't breakfast food you say?  Well they can be if the brunch is at Ol' Mexico in Roseville.  Not the sort of place you might typically think of for brunch, but the trip is worth it.  They have an extensive buffet that not only features the usual breakfast items like sausages, biscuits and gravy, and fruit, but also a buffet of Mexican foods where you can get everything you need to make the perfect taco.  They have other things too like barbecue ribs, wings, mashed potatoes and more.

We'll plan on meeting there at  12:30.  We'll meet outside first and then find a table.  If the weather is nice, perhaps we can even sit on the patio.  If we end up inside, we could also do trivia.  The buffet is just $12.95 plus tax and the food is really good, so we're hoping you'll come out and join us.

Ol' Mexico is located on Lexington, just north of Larpenteur in Roseville.  There is plenty of free parking right in front.

Just for the record we still plan on going and will be there at 12:30 if anyone wants to join us. It looks like we will be dining indoors though. As for traffic, as long as you avoid Snelling it's really not a problem.

David/Laura, Since no one else is going and I think I may have the flu, I will bow out as well. Then you won't have to "wait out front' On another note that may be a busy area given the state fair is in session

I'd be there but just started a diet. Buffets and diets don't mix. :(

Glad to see we have a couple of first timers signed up. We'll plan to meet out front at 12:30. We'll wait a bit for everyone and then head in. If you arrive later, we'll leave the name "Allison" with the host.
