BYOB Winter Whites

YES! It's back! The event that was the talk of last years winter season! The Winter White BYOB at member Jill Sigelman's in downtown Minneapolis. NOW, if you TRIED to go last year and could not find a parking space due to the Monster Truck Rally at the Dome (or maybe you WENT to the Monster Truck Rally instead) please note that we schedule this AROUND this years Monster Truck Rally (it is this weekend just in case you don't already have tickets). It is metered parking though, so please keep that in mind. Any other questions regarding the venue please send them my way and we will get them answered.

Now the good stuff.
Please bring a bottle of white to share. Maybe a bubbly? Maybe a vinho verde that you found and loved this past summer? How about a favorite chardonnay? Maybe this will help get the cold weather doldrums out of our heads and take us back to the summer when it was 88 and we were grillin' and chillin.

Please also bring an appetizer to share, maybe a nice melon and prosciutto to go with a pinot grigrio? A black bean salsa and chips to go with that white sangria? I am sure you guys can come up with something creative!

One more thing, Jill is kind enough to open up her home to us, lets help her out by bringing a children's book for the Junior League of Minneapolis annual Books for Kids book drive. Only stipulation, no religious or holiday books. It can be a used book to if it is in really good condition.

So, it is a bottle of white, an appetizer to share and a book, but most importantly you! Looking forward to seeing all of you this year! There will be prizes for the best wine, appetizers and if any of you want to go all out and collect books from your neighborhood or work, most books collected! Any questions please let me know!
