This is going to be a little different than our past, more social gatherings. This is limited in the number, I would like everyone to bring a cheese and a wine to be paired with it. Each member will introduce their cheese and the characteristics of the cheese as well as the wine and how and why it is paired with it. Please come prepared, do your homework so that everyone can benefit from the fruits of one anothers labor.

If you need some good resources for cheese, here are some ideas for you
Surdyk's (has an excellent selection and some wonderful cheese consultants)
Lunds and Byerly's (several Twin Cities Locations)
Kowalski's (several Twin Cities Locations)
Whole Foods (located near Lake Calhoun)
Premier Cheese Market at 50th and France in Edina

Do you know of any other good resources that I may not have included? Please send them to me and I will add them. Are you nervous about speaking in front of a group? This is a great opportunity to practice because this is a wonderful laid back group of people.

Crackers and bread will be provided as well as water and other things to go with the evening. There will be a $5 charge for this event to cover the extras and you will need to pay when you RSVP.

Any questions please let me know. Also, please keep in mind the Yes means Yes policy. There will be a waiting list, so please be considerate of those on the waiting list and leaving enough time for them to research and find the perfect wine and cheese pairing.

  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 5 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: In order to receive a refund, you will need to cancel 5 days in advance.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
