Zen Practice

  • Apr 6, 2014 · 3:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We'll start off with qigong practice, followed by 30-minutes of zazen, and then a discussion period.

This gathering is appropriate for folks new to meditation and qigong, as well as for long-time practitioners....and everyone in between! Please wear comfortable clothing.

Please RSVP, so I can set up appropriately. Plan to arrive in time to be in your seat at a few minutes before 3:00. If you'd like help finding a comfortable sitting posture for meditation, please arrange to meet me at 2:45.

Another Zen group meets in this space, and allows us to use their cushions. They request we wear socks to protect the cushions' fabric.

A donation of $5-7 is requested. All proceeds are used for basic operating expenses of this sangha. All are welcome, regardless of ability to offer a donation.

Please see our Practice Form Guidelines in the Pages section of our site.

Hi, thanks again to everyone for a good meeting. The book I mentioned is called Trying Not to Try: the Art and Science of Spontaneity by Edward Slingerland. Highly recommended!
