I would like to rediscover whether zazen and other meditation techniques have any positive effects on me. I would also like to make new friends in a laid-back but focused environment. I can offer an open mind and respect for the practices of Buddhist meditation.
Not for a long time now.
As the son of a JuBu, I grew up curious about Buddhism. In college I studied Buddhism in Japan, and meditated twice a day for three months. I fell out of practice a long time ago, and this seems like a neat opportunity to try it again.
