November 11, 2011
My mother has been a Toastmaster since I was in elementary school. It wasn't a matter of "WHY" join but "WHEN." I first joined Toastmasters in 2004. I was an off and on member for three years at the lunch hour Campus Communicators club at the University of Western Ontario and rejoined in 2010 in my hometown of Cambridge at Grand River Toastmasters. When I moved to Toronto in 2011, I joined UHN Toastmasters and Unity Toastmasters. Being a member has definitely improved my confidence in speaking in front of people. I am still working to better my impromptu speaking skills.
I want to complete my Competent Leadership manual for a second time.
Hi, I'm Adam! I'm looking to improve my public speaking and communication skills.
