We've got a visitor from San Francisco for the October meet of the London Atlassian User Group. Matt Hodges, Confluence Product Marketing Manager will be in London to talk about Confluence and the latest updates around Blueprints and Confluence Answers.
We will also have David Bonilla, the Spanish & UK ambassador to give us the lastest news on Atlassian releases.
Hot on the heels of the recent release of Jira Service Desk, Valiantys are also here to give us a demo and show us how to get the best out of the new Jira add-on. Valiantys have long been experts on using Jira as a service desk tool and bring years on experience & knowledge to the AUG.
Charles Hall from OpenBet will also show us how he's improved the navigation of spaces by creating an easy to use dynamic horizontal menu. It combines a standard confluence macro with jQuery & CSS to transform the normal vertical layout into a horizontal one offering up to 3 levels of menus. Such menus are common in many high profile websites but hasn't been easily accessible in Confluence. Charles has also spoken at Atlassian Summit 2009 & 2010.
