The National Hack The Government Day Hack invites you to join us to build software, visualizations and other creations that puts the government’s meticulously-compiled facts and figures to good use. You will have free reign over the data, able to build and showcase what is important to you and what you think is important to others.

It's an exiting opportunity for developers, designers and tech heads to visualize data in new and interesting ways, or build frameworks that make it easier for future software to tap into it. Finding ways to improve your Government by coding a better country. Creating prototypes of tools, services, applications or even websites all fuelled by coffee, pizza and sweets.

"NHTG is always one of the best Rewired State events in terms of the hacks created and the variety of them." Michael Mokrysz (developer attendee)

"The sheer brilliance of what was built was seriously impressive, even for a hack day veteran. For those members of the audience who were new to to this, it must have been mind- blowing." Richard Goodwin (a previous attendee) TSO The Stationary Office

Please do not use meetup just to advertise. If you rsvp on meetup then that means you are attending NOT VIA A THIRD PARTY site.

I need to clarify: This particular meetup group is nearly always publicising events that are organised by third-parties. So for the third-party organiser an RSVP on this meetup isn't going to get you in to the event. You *MUST* sign up on the event organiser's site if you want to go.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
