Great overview of the 5 Languages concept, very interactive discussion, Chuck did well as facilitator! I'm looking forward to similar and deeper programs. Thanks!

It was great. My favorite part was rubbing Chuck's fuzzy head. I now wish I would have also rubbed Byron's head, as I feel he may have felt a little left out. Wish we could find a way to get more men to attend these things. Unfortunately, the majority of attendees to meet ups are women. It's great to learn this stuff, but more men need to be open and aware. OH - and I loved the fact that the waiter was enthusiastic about this topic and joined in.

Well, I wasn't able to make it after all. I registered at the last minute because of some work obligations, the horizons looked good so I paid late this evening.. all for another emergency to pop up at work {:-(

Maybe this was the only location with a private room - which I think is EXCELLENT! A private room is a great idea. I normally cannot attend stuff during the week - but I am taking some vacation days. It's the only way I can go...I am looking forward to it.

Great idea Detra. Joy - is Greenville a street? Sorry for my ignorance, but I still am not familar with Dallas. I am learning as a result of these meet up groups, though. That is why I join them.

With the weather being so nice, Addison & downtown are starting to have more outdoor events. Taste of Addison, Jazz under the Stars, movie nights. I'm pretty open to anything. :)

There is a great park off of Royal and Greenville, that could work, since it's a half way mark.

Maybe one event can be in the Addison area and the other could be in the downtown area to accommodate members who are spread out over the city.

Sounds good (Sherry) - I like downtown also. But Uptown has some great venues, as does Addison...a picnic is a great idea

Downtown, Uptown seems too confusing to navigate. I probably wouldn't go if held there. I think a nice Saturday or Sunday picnic would be nice so people can interact outside of a noisy bar or restaurant. But since I am so new to Dallas I'm no expert. If it's easy and convenient I will certainly do my best to participate

Personally I am more open to venues in the Uptown, Downtown, Lower Greenville area. Here are some options: The Mason Bar, Dish, The Cedar's Social, Sundown at Granada, Terelli's, Hacienda.
