We all know we should be backing up our files, but how many of us actually are?
For the September presentation Chason Chaffin makes his UUASC debut
profiling two open source command line "backup" tools, raync and
duplicity, that make efficient and secure backups across the network of important
desktop and server data.
By the end of the presentation attendees should be able to create an
automatic, encrypted, and incremental backup that will protect you or your customer's most important files.
Chason Chaffin, is a programmer working on pretty much anything to do
with the web. He is interested in technology,
social media, and the culture that the intermix of the two
creates.Chason's work currently involves small, focused projects
that have an immediate impact on people’s day to day productivity.
