I'm at the hospital with a family emergency and won't be able to make it to the meeting tomorrow. Can someone be the point contact person so others know who to find at the meeting?

Happy to do it. I'll be wearing a blue and red plaid shirt so I'll be easy to spot. If you need help finding us, you can call me at[masked]-6158. Hope everything turns out OK Priti, our thoughts are with you.

Any way these meetups could occasionally be held actually in Atlanta? I want to join in but I live south of the perimeter, so Doraville is quite a hike for me.

I helped get UX Book Club started with Jamie a couple years back. We mostly met in town because it was convenient to us, so I'm glad to see Priti spreading the love outside the Perimeter. There's room for both - as Katelyn points out, there are a good number of us intown as well. JavaVino in Virginia Highlands has a great downstairs space that we've used for IxDA Meetups. I'd be happy to help out if we wanted to mix it up sometime.

Josh I think we can hold sessions alternate months in the different areas or as you/I am available to host the sessions. Let me know what you think. We can have this discussion offline but you are welcome to take charge of the September session in town.

Just a reminder so you can plan your reading according, we don't have a 4 week break before this meetup instead of the usual 6 weeks between meetups.

We had a nice meet up last night.
I'd like to vote for 'Lean UX'.

I'm pitching for Lean UX. I'm half-way through and it's full of 'hands on' ideas and conceptual advice, coupled w/ anecdotal stories. At 120 pages it's easy to consume.

Lean UX has been on my list for awhile. I'm secretly hoping it gets voted up.

I've voted for Lean UX based on your two enthusiastic suggestions. Sorry I had to miss yesterday's meetup.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
