Our next book is the Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson

Walter Isaacson's official biography of Steve Jobs offers a captivating overview of one of the great champions of design. While Steve wasn't a designer in a traditional sense, his practices at Apple changed the perception of the importance of great design throughout Apple and the world of business.

Our generous host for this event is Pivotal Labs. Food and beverage will be provided as part of your ticket price.

We look forward to a lively discussion with all of you about this fascinating book!

Despite having to leave early, I really enjoyed the company and talking about Jobs. Looking forward to future meetups.

It was a nice intimate conversation and I think everyone got a chance to talk. The venue was very nice and I thought the book gave us all a nice excuse to talk about Apple (because we all need that.)

Great topic, would be an interesting discussion: Job's philosophy goes against the very principle of user centered design...

so sad that I'm already booked... Hoping I might be able to sneak out. If not, let me just say this was a good choice. Confirmed a lot I believe about what it takes to make your mark.

yeah, we're still confirming how many people we can accommodate at Pivotal. Just trying to keep it safe for now and we'll see if we can or whether we need to increase the capacity.

Hi Stephanie, Good to see the group on Meetup. Are you really going to limit the size of the meetup to 30? There have been times that the group was way more than that.

Sorry, Amazon required a few more steps than anticipated. Hold tight should be fixed in a few days.
