Design Synthesis - moving from Research to Design

  • Jul 15, 2014 · 5:30 PM

You have been working away for weeks, gathering research, reviewing data sets, deep diving into the Google pool of analytics and listing out endless behaviours.

Now it comes to the point to start to make this research a reality. To start the design process, to turn the numbers into a product. For many people this can be a hard, a leap of faith to go from the safety of the research into the unknown of design.

Lucky for us there is a simple process with a few small steps that can nudge us out of the research mode while still maintaining a referential approach.

The content was a bit above my understanding but that is more because I don't work fully in UX. But Gary put in a lot of effort (hand-drawn slides!) and presented well.
