Understanding Information Architecture

To celebrate World IA Day (9th Feb 2013), yes its a little later) we are doing Information Architecture this month.

But this time we are doing it differently. No book for you to study. Mind you if you want one I can suggest a few.

We are going show off two or so techniques to help you refine an Information Architecture.

This will be very much a hands on session with the demonstration of two techniques that you could with a little practice immediately apply to your own work place or next project.

Resources

Donna Spencer, A Practical Guide to Information Architecture

Louis Rosenfel and Peter Morville, Information Architecture for the World Wide Web

Heather Hedden, The Accidental Taxonomist

We will not be in general discussing these books.
