This month we'll be exploring the user experience of *data* -- how to make data easily accessible, how to make data compelling, and how to leverage it in your UX process. We'll have two presentations and a workshop from the cutting edge of UX and data. Please note we have a new location!

Our speakers will include:

Meaghan Nolan, Head of Human Experience at Superhuman, Inc
Scott Pobiner, Chief Design Officer at EquaMetrics and Assistant Professor at the New School
Burton Yount, UX Director at Conjure

The competencies of all presenters Meaghan, Scott, Burton, and founders of UX School, Matt and Van -are groundbreaking. The fact that you can spend the after-work evening in the amazing Pivotal facility, learn from unique data scientists while chewing sandwich and drinking beer is simply a gift from heaven. I learned that gathering and interpreting rich data sources and extracting meaning from it is worth doing it to significantly improve UX.

It was really great to see how UX designers are approaching the design of interfaces that allow people to see and use data. Interesting challenges and solutions.
