What is Brainsketching?

Brainsketching is a group creative method that uses sketching and drawing to generate a large breadth and quantity of ideas.  Each participant spends time drawing, doodling, or visually diagramming solution concepts.  Artistic talent is not a requirement, and developing works of art is not the goal.  The goal of the exercise is to get ideas on paper through sketching.

I was bummed to miss the meet-up last evening. I just got back from Austin and was hanging with my midget friends. (kids)

http://www.meetup.com/UX-in-Arizona/grow/ HAHA there is a Print shop in meet up.com conveniently placed under the dreaded "MORE" nav item under Promote. No wonder I didn't find it.

Thanks to all that participated last night. The newbies and the well seasoned. I feel we have a good mix of Uxer's pulling together and growing the community. Although the User Experience is literally as old as the human race, I believe today is perfect opportunity for all of us to take this relatively "New" practice to the next level. Each one of you are leaders in UX, and the more advocacy you can build, the stronger we will become. So, keep blowing up budgets and giving out yellow cards to the nay sayers and I will do my part to give you the tools to do so in confidence. Feel free to use the #UXAZ on any questions. And of course Meet Up.com has discussion boards. I'm open for suggestions on choosing an appropriate place for all of us to be able to share and collaborate.

Great exercise. Could have used a little more context and structure, but it all seemed to work!
