Introduction

I am the UX Lead at Wolfram Research & Wolfram|Alpha. In my spare time, I am also a co-founder of this group, and a board member for the Champaign-Urbana Design Organization (CUDO).

Do you have a favorite UX/IA/UI book and if so why?

I don't have a singular favorite when it comes to UX books, but I love continually reading new work about the continued development in our industry.

What do you do (or want to do) related to the UX field?

I'm the UX Lead at Wolfram Research, and am passionate about crafting great user experiences.

What's the one tool that you couldn't live without? (Analog or digital, see bagcheck.com for ideas)

AxureRP Pro is my number one tool, followed closely by Omnigraffle Pro. Sure, I love pen and paper, but I've never been able to express my ideas as clearly as I can with my digital inkscape.

Hey Daniel, Sunday at the Savoy 16 theatre is our next movie event. Due to lack of participation from my members, I am reaching out to each of you to try to get things going. I hope you come out Sunday or soon to see a movie. I will pick a movie each week I want to see, but also post other movies that are playing at the same time and you can pick which one you want to see. We can meet briefly before and then after for either coffee/desert, drinks or dinner. Hope to see you soon at an event.
