I've been working in software development for about 10 years. Officially, I've been called a "Software developer" but I tend to get involved in everything including BA work, project management and, when I am lucky, a tiny bit of UX design. I've worked for a variety of companies ranging from large multinationals to small startups. I hold a bachelors degree in IT and a grad diploma in interaction design. Currently looking for a role in UX.
Because technology (not to mention the time and effort that goes into it) shouldn't be wasted on badly designed products.
Good design and salsa dancing :)
Recently completed postgrad studies in interaction design. I'm looking to transition from being a software developer to a UX Architect/Designer.
