Monthly Meeting | The Startup Experience @ EvoNexus

  • This location is shown only to members

At the July meet up, we will review the current state of UX inside startups. Many startups share common driving components. These components can foster an environment for building great experiences.

The vision statement and the minimum viable product both focus attention on the user. They serve as a roadmap and gateway for creating excellent user experiences. However these are just starting points.

John Strott will be running us through an interactive activity with the companies in the incubator. Together we will examine core components of the startups. Then we will have some fun imagining the end-to-end experience of the products to ensure they will be great.

===== Sponsored By =====

Drinks and snacks for the event are being sponsored by Vitamin T. Vitamin T is a talent agency for digital creatives created to meet the unique needs of ad agencies and mid-sized companies. They have been a sponsor of UX Speakeasy since day one so be sure and stop by to say thanks.

    I'm not super comfortable in large crowds of folks I don't know so at first I was a bit ambivalent. Things warmed up when the blue pills from the Light Green group started flowing. Just joshing of course! The discussion was good and a bit of a different take on startups. The group exercise afterwards of mapping out an MVP was a great ice breaker for me and it was nice to meet so many great folks. I'm looking forward to the next one!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
