Hi...I enjoy eating and sharing food experiences with friends and family and I thought this might be a fun way to meet others who enjoy the food experience.
My mind just went blank. Hard to pick one. For Sushi - Sushi Den. For continental - Del Frisco's.
Hmmmm...someplace in Tuscany, Italy,. I haven't ever been to Italy but Julia Roberts made it look so good in Eat, Pray Love:)
Chicago as a city, my home town and my favorite junk foods (read italian beef sandwiches). ethnic foods (Greektown) and fine cuisine (soooo many). I also remember a long time ago having great food in Switzerland but which part of the country or city I can't recall.
I just had it at Girl and the Goat in Chicago. The best diding/food experience ever.
Welcome to DFO. We have a great group where we just don't post on the internet but actually meet face to face. We would love to have you join in one of the many events that we have planned in the next few months. I personally suggest the Winter Retreat or working with the children at the Tennyson Center. We are also always adding more events or you can suggest one.
PS. This group will welcome you and make you part of the family. I can tell you this from my personal experience.
I did check with Gail, just waiting for a response.
Sheryl - I'm looking for a room mate for the Pagosa Springs weekend in October. I've already made a reservation. Can you email me???
Yay Sheryl Joy!!! I did not want to see this group dissolve either!! So glad you are the new organizer. I know this group is going to have fun and experience great joy:)
Welcome to Theater and the arts in Denver, Sheryl! Though I hope you'll join us for a play sometime, I also want to refer you to Michael's classical group. He does much more ballet/opera than I do, and still has tickets left to Marriage of Figaro. You can read about it here: http://www.meetup.com/Colorado-Classi...
Anyway, glad you found the group, and I do hope to meet you at an event soon! - Stacy (Organizer)
If needed be, I have a tent that you could borrow. Let me know after you talk to Scott.
Hi Sheryl- Look forward to seeing you on the 21st- it'll be a wonderful group!
