Snowboarder. Reasonably experienced (Can ride pretty much any run on the mountain in good snow, but stay off the really steep stuff when it's crusty. Snowboards suck on steep ice/crust.). Got a pass for the 11/12 season, when the MVP pass went on sale, and would like to get my money's worth out of it. Not a big partier, but down for a beer or two after a day on the slopes. Would prefer to eat in (vegetarian) to save on expenses. Also have a splitboard, basic mountaineering skills/gear, and Avy I training, so I'm open to back-country days if the conditions permit. I'm still relatively new to back-country riding, so if you're experienced at that, great. I don't feel qualified to lead back-country trips yet, but can be a contributing member of a group trip. I've done several back-country trips, over the past few seasons, in the SoCal ranges, but haven't ridden anything in the Sierra yet.
Hoping to go at least a couple times a month.
I'd rather carpool.
I've shared condos before, and am not terribly picky about accommodations. Provided the heat works, there's no vermin infestation, and the showers are hot, I'm happy. I'll even bring a thermarest and crash on the floor if the price is right. However, I go to Mammoth to snowboard, not party, so I would prefer there not be a rager going on into the wee hours, but overall I'm pretty tolerant and easy going.
Not at this time.
Love to be outdoors, especially on a snowboard, rope or bicycle.
This was only my second meetup trip, but no complaints thus far.
