Introduction

Originally from Norway and started cross country skiing at a young age. Started alpine skiing at 9 but it has been less of it in recent years.

Are you a skier, or boarder, or both, and are you a Mammoth MVP/season pass holder?

I do both but generally prefer skiing in Mammoth. I am not a Mammoth pass holder.

How often would you like to go to Mammoth in season?

A couple of times usually.

Would you rather drive/arrange car pools to Mammoth (what we usually do), or plan on a scheduled bus trip?

I find that carpooling to mammoth is typically the least expensive option and since skiing is expensive enough in itself, I prefer that option.

Have you shared condo accomodations before, and did you find it to your liking?

Yes, and Yes

Would you like to help organize and post trips and/or events? Have you in the past?

I organize for several groups already and would not mind posting events on here as well.

  • Hi! I just joined and think I may RSVP for the kayaking trip. Do you allow kids to come along? I have a well-behaved/polite son of 12 years who ould really enjoy/ benefit from this trip.

    If not, I understand....

  • Hello Stein. As it turns out, I'm too sick to make it to Yosemite next week. I'm letting you know that I changed my rsvp so theres a spot open if you wanna take it before anyone else does.

  • Do you know Franklin Canon in BH? Great place to hike. I go regularly there and know the area well. There are some nice hills and bars to stretch the body before and after hiking.

  • Hi Stein,

How advance is this hike? I'd love to go but not sure if I'll be able to keep up w/ the group. I hike regularly, work out 3 times a week and have hiked Franklin canyon. If I feel like I can't keep up w/ the pace, will it be ok if I bail go on my own? Thanks.
