We have been approached to play at my former boss's farewell party, lunchtime Friday Nov 30 at Sea Scouts Hall, off Emu Bank Belconnen. It's suppose to be a surprise for him and the theme is Hawaiian.
Lunch will be provided.
We could play a selection of Hawaiian songs in the 2 sets.

Note: There is a rehearsal with the Harpers that evening 7:00pm at the Club followed by the Special Children's Christmas Party the following day 9:30pm.
Can you do it?

I contacted Jane and got a copy the new version of Gonna Get Along without you now, specially adapted for this event, and it is now under Files. Please have a look and familiarise yourself before Friday.

Jane had very kindly re-written the words to 'Gonna get along without you now' to reflect better the 'circumstances'. Will bring spare copies for us and audience.

I have edited the map to give the exact location of the venue.. The organiser had requested that we start playing from 12:30pm while guests are arriving. Please bring your songbooks in case we are required to play more numbers. I'll be there at 11:30 to set up the PA system.
Food and drinks (alc and non-alc) will be available to all the musicians. There could be close to 100 people of my former work colleagues there so I'd better behave (haha)!!
