greetings everyone!...

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make this hike due to it being scheduled on a weekday.
If ANY type of social activity is happening on a week END or eveing (after 6p) I would be REALLY happy to make it!!!!
I'm looking to hook up with new friends and enjoy some outdoor activities OR just to meet up and hang! I'm in New Paltz..but willing to travel somewhat around the area..
***Please feel free to contact me if something is going on...Thanks!
Snap

Announcing a new Meetup for Ulster County Outdoors!
What: Intermediate-Strenuous Hike: Breakneck Ridge
When: Friday, August 5,[masked]:30 AM
Where: Breakneck Ridge
Route 9D
Cold Spring, NY 10516 [masked]
Terrain: Intermediate-Strenuous, not a beginner hike
Distance: 3 - 4 miles
Welcome: All experienced hikers
The views from Breakneck Ridge Rock Scramble are breathtaking.  Come join me for a great workout and beautiful hike.
IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Hiking and Rock Scrambling are dangerous.
We do not charge for this event and we are not a professional group. You participate completely at your own risk. Please keep in mind that even though the distance sounds short, this hike is a workout! Lots of elevation, ups and downs. Meeting at the northernmost lot on 9D, just north of the tunnel.
Driving Directions: From Westchester: Taconic N., NY Rt. 301 W., 9D north Proceed north on N.Y. Route 9D for about 8.5 miles to the Village of Cold Spring. Continue ahead on Route 9D for another two miles past the intersection with N.Y. Route 301 in Cold Spring. Immediately after passing through a tunnel under Breakneck Ridge, there will be three parking areas on 9D - let's meet in the northernmost one. From NYC: take George Washington bridge to the Palisades Interstate Parkway Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway to its northern terminus at the Bear Mountain Bridge. Cross the bridge and proceed north on N.Y. Route 9D for about 8.5 miles to the Village of Cold Spring. Continue ahead on Route 9D for another two miles past the intersection with N.Y. Route 301 in Cold Spring. Immediately after passing through a tunnel under Breakneck Ridge, there will be three parking areas on 9D - let's try the northenmost one. Roughly 1 hour without traffic.
Check it out!
