This will be the first meeting on the East side of town.
Some topics to consider are:
- Do you prefer to learn through conversation and story-telling/reading?
- Are you interested in learning or remembering the Italian grammar (masculine and feminine, singular and plural nouns, pronouns, different type of articles, verb conjugation, etc.)?
- Would you like to practice a combination of grammar and conversation?
Depending on the answers to the above questions/topics and on the proficiency level of the participants, we'll agree on the type of materials to be used for the meetings. Some choices are: text books, children's stories and poems, grammar handouts, song lyrics, etc.
We will meet every other week on Wednesday or Thursday. Stay tuned for more details.
Note that these meetings are not intended to substitute college style Italian classes, but to supplement that type of structured learning through practice in a group setting.
Above all, these meetings will offer you an opportunity to meet other Italian aficionados and to unite forces with us in promoting the beauty of la dolce lingua and Il Bel Paese.
