Driving LEDs with transistors (we have 2N2222 transistors at the space)
Driving inductive loads with transistors (we will be providing DC motors and batteries)
Buttons (buttons will be provided. will also cover debouncing with hardware and software)
7 segment displays (will be provided)
Interfacing with Static Random Access Memory (approx 5 chips will be provided)
Arduino (any kind will do)
Laptop (there are some at the space if needed, but they are slow)
Full size breadboard (only 2-3 will be provided)
USB cable (whatever type is used for your Arudino)
If you would like to participate, but do not have any of the required items, please let me know. I have a few extras of everything, but I need to know ahead of time!
Big thanks to Bowie for the box of 2,000 transistors! Those are the ones we will be using on Friday.
If enough people bring 2x16 character LCD displays then I will walk everyone through setting those up! I wish I could teach it anyway, but I only have one or two of em.
Please let me know if you plan to attend. It's by no means a requirement. It just serves to give me an idea of how many people to prepare for.
Feel free to bring things that you want to use the Arduino to interface with. Think of it as show and tell :)
