Here's a winery that is tucked right in the center of the Universe - Fremont. Well it's across the bridge from it at least.

This is an interesting winery as it seems to be attached, or at least shares a building, with the restaurant, Book Bindery. An upscale fine dining restaurant, the shared facilities are situated off the picturesque canal leading to the Ballard locks.

According the website they are open during the week and late on Friday and Saturday  evenings. You can choose  to end with a fine dinner there  at The Book Bindery http://www.bookbinderyrestaurant.com/ or opt for the local area cafes, pubs and restaurants in the Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods.

The wine line-up is built for those deep, big wine, red lovers out there.  Cab Franc, Cab Sauvignons, Malbec, Zinfandel, Grenache's, Syrahs..something for everyone.

I will check in with them to see what the tasting fee is and more details about the wine as we get closer.

I would give it a full 5 star if people that committed showed up. However the people that did more than made up for it. Great people and great wine.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
