Concert in Wilmot Park - Celebrate Woodinville Concerts

Taste, sip and enjoy a variety of great Northwest wines while listening to live music outdoors on the picturesque meadow at Wilmot Gateway Park, along the Sammamish River.

Each concert will feature free music, local wineries, breweries, and restaurants. I and a couple of friends volunteered for this last year and it's a great venue. We can meet in the winery garden, hold a picnic spot and sample wines. It's a nice way to spend the evening. We can coordinate more as we get closer.
Bring a lawn chair, picnic blanket, and some picnic snacks to share. Nice way to wind down on a Wednesday summer evening. This is a BYOG event (bring your own glass). They sell glasses for $5 if you forget yours.

I will inform you later of the band, the tasting ticket cost etc.

The link above simply takes you to a generic map of Woodinville. Here's the city page for the part, with the exact address. http://www.ci.woodinville.wa.us/Play/WilmotGatewayPark.asp

You enter the 'garden' area and no you don't need to do the tastes to sit in there. I believe bringing your own is okay, just be discreet, but we know how to do that, eh? ;-} If you are interested in doing the tastes bring your own glass. I'll bring my canvas chair, a blanket and goodies to share, and potentially, a chilled bottle of white. I still will do the tastes, that's a bonus.

Thx for the info, Diana. I will bring some eats and smuggle a bottle in, too. I look forward to seeing you. I'm assuming you'll post info closer to the date about where the group should meet or how to find you...or I will ping you directly and ask for your cell. Don;t want to end up sitting solo! Thx!

Hey Diana! Looks like "Down North" is the band that night. Do you know how much tasting tickets are and if we don't want to do tastes, can we just smuggle in a bottle of our own??
