Flash Tasting @Grand Cru Wine Shop: May Day Spanish Wines!

The Wines Of Spain Are Certainly Revolutionary. And Five Of These Are Red! No, we're not going to march around the block to demonstrate solidarity. Instead, we'll taste some exciting wines crafted in the newest Spanish style. They definitely represent a revolution in winemaking. And five of the six wines are Eric Solomon Selections, one of my favorite importers of French and Spanish wines (European Cellars).

And having a tasting tonight gives me a nice lead in to reminding you about the great Italian Mega Tasting we're having on May 18th -- to to call the shop and reserve your tickets! (And save money with the Early Bird pricing.)

2012 Burgans Albarino (Rias Baixas, ES) $16.99; 2010 Celler de Capcanes "Costers del Gravet" (Montsant, ES) $[masked] Black Slate Porrera, VI de la Vila (Priorat, ES) $[masked] Izadi "Reserva" (Rioja, ES) $20.99
2007 O. Fournier "Spiga" (Ribera del Duero, ES) $[masked] Aalto (Ribera del Duero, ES) $57.99 --

Why not join us? We start at 5, end at 7. The company is witty, and so are the crackers. Bring ten bucks and taste $170 worth of wine.

See you tonight,

Tom and Chris

PS. Sarah will not be here! She has to leave early FYI!

As always, a wonderful opportunity to taste regional varietals and listen to gurus casual exchange :)
    Thanks, Sarah :)

I did, also - though I find all the selection are highly educative to the palate :) Albarinho needs to join my modest collection.
As per the additional clarification - I don't really think you need to, if your refer to a comment from a previous member, he fully benefited from this opportunity you to brought to public awareness ;)

Funny the first and only tasting I went to she stayed a total of maybe 30 minutes. What a surprise.Glad I am unsubscribing. Who wants to go to a Meet Up where host would rather do yoga than hang with her fellow members? Not me!
