"The Law of Attraction" has been part of the mainstream discussion for many years now. It is the topic of books, movies, television, the Internet. Is it another fad, just another hot topic? No. The Universal Law of Attraction is just that ~ a law, true yesterday, true today, true tomorrow. And it is an invaluable and transformative tool for self-awareness, self-realization and self-actualization.

Why is the Law of Attraction on everyone's lips these days, even discussed in mainstream arenas like The Oprah Show and Larry King Live? Why now? This is neither coincidence nor happenstance. The Law of Attraction is absolutely the process through which we, this Race of Humans, can navigate the changing energies of this Great Cycle in time and successfully bring about our own ascension into the New (and next) Age.

Humanity appears to be experiencing a time of turmoil and tumult ~ financial crises, fuel shortfalls, health challenges, weather extremes, health crises ~ all of which can elicit fear and worry. At the same time, there is ever-increasing discussion about the Mayan Calendar and a significant date it says is "the end of time as we know it" ~ December 21, 2012. Again, this is neither a coincidence nor happenstance.

The time in which we are living is unlike any time in history ~ in fact, we are currently living in and experiencing a cycle that hasn't been experienced in 26,000 years ~ imagine that! There is great speculation about what this time will entail. Some say we will enter Heaven on Earth; some believe it is the end of the world.

Many sacred documents tell us it is our choice. The Gnostic Book of Enoch, the Book of Revelations, the predictions of Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce, to name but a few ~ all recount scenarios of death, destruction, annihilation while at the same time offering different outcomes of Eden, Heaven on earth, and rebirth. How can this be? How can two opposites occupy the same space? Modern-day quantum physics has now proven that it is possible for two things to occupy the same space. In Michael Drosnin's book "The Bible Code" he outlines dire predictions and outcomes encoded into the Torah, the first five books of the Bible ~ and next to each of those dire outcomes are the words, "Will you change it?"

Choice ~ that is the key word. It is our choice. We are powerful creators and through our attention and intention, we can bring about miraculous results in our individual lives that then reach out and touch the world around us. The Law of Attraction is a tool for self-awareness ~ when you recognize where you currently are, you can choose to shift your focus and therefore your destination.

Ancient texts reveal this law, a code for living. Find ways to work with the Law, and ~ maybe even more important ~ ways that we block ourselves from receiving all the loving benefits of the Law. It is up to us how our world will look on December 22, 2012.
