We know that photography is an expensive hobby. Nature photography requires a different set of tools, most are even more expensive than standard lenses. This workshop will discuss different equipment choices that can make the "bite" a little less painful. Where to rent expensive equipment, where to buy good used equipment and select non-manufacturers lenses. We will discuss advantages and disadvantages of some equipment.
The discussions will not only discuss equipment but methods of getting great "wall hanger" quality images. We will talk about methods of gettting closer to wildlife, understanding wildlife, macro techniques and natural scene setups. Where and when to go to get closer or increase your opportunities. Considering guided excursions with professionals, etc.
Part of this discussion will include information about the upcoming "Breakfast Bell for the Eagles" meetup scheduled for November 23, 2012. What you will need and how to prepare. Even if you do not go on this meetup, the information is important if you decide to venture to this location on your own!
