ABSTRACT

Learn how to build cross platform apps using Qt and Qyoto. Qt is a cross platform development framework that runs on Linux, Mac, and Windows. Jeff Alstadt a passionate cross-platform developer will show you what it takes to get Qt, Qyoto running on your system and building cross platform apps with it. The presentation will include a brief overview of the Qt framework as well as introduction to the Qt concepts of Qt development. It will then include a demo of a simple Qt app running on Linux using the Qyoto libraries. Later Jeff will show you the advancements that are heading for Qt 5 as well as show you how it is possible run Qt on mobile devices such as Android.
