We welcome members of MeetUp groups, DRAW, Sketch On, the Lodge, and the DC Plein Air Painters!

Unique Perspectives is a SOCIAL group that uses our common interest in creating art to draw us together.

Our socials and semi-structured activities will help give you the support you need to open yourself to your inner creator!

Anyone can be an artist...and likely already is one. Many of us have said that we are uneasy taking on the title of "Artist" - that we feel we are not good enough at art - but the more we practice our craft, the more we realize we ARE artists.

Only you can create your art! We're here to support you as you determine your artistic goals.

Many of our artists are self-taught. We see that as no barrier to taking on the title of "Artist."

Within our group, we will offer weekly social activities as well as free semi-structured classes on a regular basis. Using this instruction, some members will focus on learning art fundamentals, and later apply their learning to increasingly improvisational art. Others will stay more conservative. Yet others, who have already completed years of training, may hope to interact with other artists while they further hone their skills.

Everyone is welcome to add their image to our collage!
