Share Personal Stories of Faith

Come and share your unique story of faith with others in a non-judgmental setting and listen to others share their stories. We’ll be discussing the needs and beauty of San Francisco and some of the ways people of faith can gather together into a community to make a positive difference. Additionally we'll be posing a couple questions: What do you think is necessary for a new church in SF to look like? What do you think is important for a new church in SF to feel like?

We love San Francisco, we see and feel many of the City's needs, and we enjoy stimulating conversation with people of divergent views and varied backgrounds. When we share our stories, we share a part of our ourselves and thereby become closer to others, their humanity. This results in us becoming more in touch with our own humanity.

Everyone's story has value because every person has value. Maybe you think San Francisco has too many churches already. Maybe it never occurred to you that a church could be a positive part of the fabric of this beautiful City. Maybe you've been burned by a church in the past. Maybe you've found acceptance in a community centered around the person of Christ in the past and are looking for a similar community here. Whatever your story, we’re interested in meeting with you.

I received feedback from many of you asking for something in the evening. As you may have noticed, this meetup is a slight variation on our Monday theme.
This meetup serves as a potential “on-ramp” to this church startup moving forward. We hope you come to check it out with regularity. We won’t pressure you to make a further commitment.
