Tell us why you are interested in dog rescue

At 16 I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to volunteer at Wildlife Waystation for the summer. I am so grateful for Martine Colette the founder for that opportunity and the wonderful work she does. I realize the vast over population of pets these days and the countless unnecessary euthanasia that occurs on a daily basis. I just want to do what I can to help these animals that cannot help themselves.

Tell us what volunteer roles you are interested in: working hands-on with dogs, working hands-on with cats, uploading videos, posting pet profiles online, adoption coordinating, or writing (pet descriptions or stories for our website).

I would enjoy working hands -on with dogs or cats. dog walking, cleaning cages grooming etc. I would also be willing to be a foster home for dogs. I have excellent customer service and organizational skills so adoption coordinating sounds interesting as well.

Introduction

Hello, my name is Lisa and I have loved & respected animals since I was a child. I am in my late 40's & I live on a huge property with a secured yard. I have two rescue dogs and two rescue cats. I would like to volunteer whatever services I can.
