About United Latino Professionals:
United Latino Professionals (ULP) was founded as a social networking group in December of 2008 with the original purpose of bringing professional people of like mind together to enjoy socio-cultural events and gatherings around Latino culture themes, expanding their social network among Latino professionals and giving back to the community via volunteer opportunities and other community outreach events. Since its inception ULP has grown to include more than 1000 members in New York, Washington DC, and San Diego California with more members joining everyday nationwide.United Latino Professionals offers free membership to anyone interested in expanding their social network, exploring Latino cultures, and supporting the Latino community.
ULP Events:
ULP events are hosted by ULP event organizers and either hosted and promoted by us, or held in collaboration with other local social networking groups or community and cultural organizations locally and nationwide. All events celebrate and/or raise consciousness about varying aspects of Latino peoples and cultures. They focus on the experience, contributions and concerns of Latinos in the United States and abroad. Events all foster the development of strong bonds among members and between ULP and the community. They include social gatherings like dinner, brunch, happy hours, dance nights, wine tastings, etc., attending music and cultural events and festivals focusing on art, theatre, film music, book releases, panel discussions, community outreach and fundraising activities.
