About United Latino Professionals
United Latino Professionals (ULP Network™) was founded as a social networking group in December of 2008 with the original purpose of bringing professional people of like mind together to enjoy socio-cultural events and gatherings around Latino/Hispanic culture themes, expand their social network among Latino/Hispanic professionals, and give back to the community via volunteer opportunities and other community outreach events. Since its inception ULP Network has grown to include more than 5 thousand members globally primarily in the NY tri-state area, San Diego California and Washington, DC, with more members added daily, and local chapters being formed every year. ULP Network has a strong social media presence on all major platforms.
United Latino Professionals (ULP Network™) is the leading social networking group in the nation for Latino professionals and those seeking to connect with our cultures and people. With chapters in all major urban areas in the United States and abroad, our activities will continue to unite people, provide education, and celebrate all aspects of Latino culture. ULP’s website social media channels, and digital presence is a respected, popular source of intellectually stimulating information, opinion, entertainment, education, culture and community programming for a wide audience.
United Latino Professionals (ULP Network™) is a social networking platform designed to foster strong connections between its members, unite the professional community, and support the arts, culture, and education. Through its three pillars: Friendship, culture, and community, ULP offers varied, high-quality programming that expands awareness of Latino culture, social issues relevant to the Latino/Hispanic community and supports philanthropic endeavors that advocate, promote or provide for the betterment of society as a whole.
ULP upholds a high standard of quality and strives to provide upscale events of Latino professionals and those that enjoy, or wish embrace Latino culture themes and cultures.
ULP events are either planned and hosted directly by us, or held in collaboration with partner local or national organizations. All events celebrate and/or raise consciousness about varying aspects of Latino peoples and cultures. Events all foster the development of strong bonds among members/attendees and between ULP and the community. They include social gatherings like dinner, brunch, happy hours, dance parties, wine tastings, music and cultural events and festivals focusing on art, theatre, film music, literature, panel discussions, community outreach and fundraising activities, all opportunities for networking.
* Non-Latinos are welcome to join. We also attend or visit non-Latino activities and venues as a group, looking to explore our great city and learn more about the diversity and cultures of the world, as we form part of a greater community of world citizens.
