Enjoy a unique program of  piano works by 19th & 20th century European & American composers including Clara Schumann, distinguished pianist & wife of composer Robert Schumann; Fanny Mendelssohn, sister of composer Felix Mendelssohn; Teresa Carreno, Venezualan piano virtuoso; and ragtime composers reminiscent of Scott Joplin, including May Aufderheide and Adeline Shepherd.   Dr. Alstadter will play selections & include brief commentary on the lives & works of these wonderful musicians.   Refreshments (Tea sandwiches, fruit, & petit fours) will be served.   Dr. Judith Alstadter is a concert pianist, music educator, lecturer, & recording artist.   $15 suggested offering, but no one will be turned away on account of funds
