Good Friday Guided Meditation

Good Friday Meditation

Chapel Opens for Meditation at Noon

Guided Meditation
2:00-3:00 PM

For more than three decades here, we have set aside a time of contemplation on Good Friday between noon and 3:00 PM

- the hours when, according to the Gospels, Jesus spoke seven times from the cross in preparation for His great demonstration over death.  At 2:00 PM, seven candles are lit; which are extinguished, in turn, after we contemplate each of the Master's seven last statements during the Crucifixion.

Come, let us honor the Silence as we share in this powerful and transformative spiritual preparation for Easter.
