The Mission of the Club:
The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
About the Club
The first meeting of Eglinton-Yonge Toastmasters was January 24, 2007, and we officially chartered as a Toastmasters Club on March 27, 2008. We are a diverse group of committed and friendly people from many different backgrounds, ages and occupations... this always makes for fascinating and fun topics, speeches and meetings.
One of the most important qualities you will discover at Eglinton-Yonge Toastmasters is we have a very supportive and friendly environment. Here you will learn vital skills and gain experience in these areas:
