The Melbourne Universal Spirituality group is for people from different (or no) religious background who want to investigate and practice spirituality and mysticism from a universal perspective. We investigate the spirituality insights of different practices, including Wicca, shamanism, Sufi, Jewish Renewal, Buddhism and other practices. Our emphasis is on the experiential. We try to incorporate findings from quantum physics, environmentalism, feminism and meditation. We have found the works of Ken Wilber provide a useful framework for understanding these aspects. We meet monthly, currently in Camberwell, Melbourne, on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Our session includes a presentation and discussion and spiritual practice and time for socialising. Our organisation is non-hierarchical and all are welcome to attend and present on relevant topics of their own interest. There is no charge.
