What does it mean to be Unstoppable?

To be unstoppable means to go after your dreams even when you are scared. It means to get back up more times than you fall down.

If you could make one change in your life that you feel would give you great joy, inspiration or fulfillment if you accomplished it…what would that be?

Launch my business as a full-time as a motivational speaker!

What stops you?

Thinking that I "don't know enough". This starts the cycle of self-doubt because instead of taking action to achieve my goals, I go into the 'planning to prepare to take action mode'. The end result is that I don't get anything done.

Who do you admire and why?

My husband. He knows what he wants and goes after it. When things don't work out, he gets disappointed but then reassesses and sets a new goal. He doesn't waste his energy feeling sorry for himself or placing blaming - he accepts it and moves on.

What inspired you to join this group?

I started this group to create a community of women going after their dreams. Something magical happens when women get together - a collective wisdom surfaces that lifts women up and gives them the courage to go after their dreams.

What Shannon is saying about this Meetup Group

This is feedback from Kathy Heath: Hi please post this. my response was rejected last night. The meeting was fantastic. The women were there for each other. The goal was to listen to each person. Open honest and direct. The best use of my time. . It was very different from a family or friends discussion..I came to the meeting overwhelmed by my own goals and objectives. I thought it was selfish or crazy to ask for clarity from the group. I came away with a simplified mantra and clarifying comments around trusting myself and letting go and to ask what is THE one question I want answered. supportive and fun... Thanks Shannon, for this gift of connecting.
