Sunset Barbecue In The Clouds

Weather permitting we'll have a fun family barbecue and bonfire at an incredible spot just off the original AT, now called the Harris trail in Etna, I promise you the view is spectacular. With the North Peak of Moose Mountain over your right shoulder you can see all of eastern Vermont from Ascutney to Bradford and west to the Green Mountains. Open mowed grass with a screened gazebo, fire pit, and a gas grill. The ideal Humanist retreat. You can Park at the sight or hike in along the Harris trail. Bring your dogs and kids! Croquet, frisbee golf and badminton will be on hand and there is even a frog pond at the bottom of the hill for adventurous parents to bring the little ones to. The sunsets are the icing on the cake!

Fabulous setting for a gathering like-minded folks. Let's build on this momentum and plan more opportunities to connect with each other.

I can't think of a better way to spend a lazy summer evening. Thank you for hosting the event Tim.

Fantastic! It was great meeting so many open-minded people and the setting was spectacular. It's clear that I have a lot to learn from those who are struggling to shrug off a formerly faith-filled existence. While I mostly see things (especially belief in gods) in black and white, I know that there are many gray areas I need to learn to appreciate. I look forward to getting to know more of you over time...

THANK YOU Tim for organizing this meetup. The picture didn't do justice to the actual beauty of the place. My kids didn't want to leave. I LOVED getting to know like-minded people. It was liberating and affirming. Thank you.

I'm happy to supply all the basics, hamburgers, hot dogs, buns condiments, drinks of all sorts and smores paraphernalia, etc., but if anyone wants to bring something to share such as a favorite dessert or a particular unique side dish that they'd like to share with the group, please feel free, but not obligated, to do so. I'll post a discussion for it so we don't get duplicates or just too much.

Great idea! Let me and Mike know whether there's anything specific we should bring for the nosh.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
