Yes, though currently another commitment might get in the way. Not sure how early or how far you're planning. Other times that might work are weekdays, late afternoon/early evening, or Sunday mornings.
Yes, at one time I ran the Chicago Marathon and a number of half marathons. I'm signed up for a 5K this weekend. It's been awhile, though, and I've got a ways to go to be ready for that again.
I'd love to, but really am starting from, well, a base of about nil, so I'm not quite sure where I'll fit in as things take shape.
I, too, live in Uptown, and am hoping to get back into running. Not sure the pace/mileage you're thinking of but it looks like the group is just getting started. I'd love to find some neighborhood running buddies!
