No Showing to Urban Adventurers Events

Dear Group Members,
While we do not have a policy against no-shows (we do not believe in forcing a lot of rules on our members), we do expect that all of our members act as responsible adults and manage their commitments appropriately. If something comes up and you are unable to make it, please change your RSVP or notify the event host so that they can make the necessary changes.
When you no-show to an event, especially to one that is very limited, you effectively steal a spot from someone else who wanted to go, but did not get enough notice that they could go. Your no-show can also reflect poorly on the group and hinder our ability to get local businesses to work with us and allow us to host our events at their establishment when we do not bring as many people as we promised them.
More importantly, when you no-show, you are robbing yourself and other members of the opportunity to meet other likeminded individuals, which is the whole purpose of any meetup group.
