Now I'm the one with the question David:
According to the park's website, the performance is going to be at the "Ginsburg Family Great Lawn" not at the "Muse Family Performance Pavillion" A.K.A " Stage" (see park map's link)
Is there anyway to confirm? because if we "take camp" by the stage we may be on the wrong side.

Good observation Mercedes. I see no reason to doubt the accuracy of the info on the park's website, so I think it makes sense for us to meet at Ginsburg Family Great Lawn. David, do you agree with that?

      1 · October 24, 2013

    • David

True - as soon as I arrive at the park, I will look for the Simulcast Screen set-up and try to place my carp in best position to watch the Opera. It will not be hard to find me - I will have Balloons and signs

This simulcast is FREE but they recommend you order your Free ticket(s) - online or call. Use link above.

Online is not easy to use - must scroll at bottom for - Klyde Warren Simulcast - plus you have to create an account.

Basicaly it is Free but they want your info so they can try to sell you season / individual ticket to other performances.

Even though the park is open - I have no idea how they are going to control entry. I have my tickets ( and 7 extras) -
So better to be safe than sorry.
Get your Ticket or confirmation before going - just in case they put controlled area barriers.
So even though I think anyone who goes with or without a ticket (confirmation) will get in -
I can not guarantee you will get in without ticket (confirmation)

    October 24, 2013

  • Sid

Hi Guys, I tried looking for the tickets but the website says we have to pay for them now. Not sure if the free offer is still valid. Any idea ?

    October 24, 2013

    • Mercedes

Go to the link to scroll down where it says:
"Choose from the list below to jump directly to another offering of Carmen Simulcast at Klyde Warren Park" After that, choose the date, it will take you to the opera page to get your tickets, the cost is $0.00 but you have to go through the whole buying process to get a confirmation.

The opera itself starts at 8:00 pm. The pre-opera program, hosted by radio show (102.9 NOW Morning Show) host Chris Jagger and opera expert Stephen Dubberly begins at 6:30 pm.

I will find space in the GRASSY area in front of the stage. The grassy area is bounded by Stone pathway behind and sand pathway right (when facing stage) and SAVOR restaurant on Left - LOOK for BLUE carp on ground and Meetup signs + Balloons with lights.
